Our most recent works event had us volunteering at the 12th Annual Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon on September 10th from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm at Del Mar Dog Beach.  It was a radical and fun event for everyone! Our families had a totally tubular time volunteering at the Registration and Activities Sales booths,  the life jacket rental and the rash guard booths both of which provided rash guards and life jackets for the dogs and their humans; as well as catching surf boards as dogs and their owners were returning to shore.  Faith and Works also donated about 20 gently used towels to the pets.  This event raised vital funds for orphan pets and life-enhancing programs at Helen Woodward Animal Center.
